Description

This ±40.02-acre property is located west of Road 27 and north of Avenue 20 in Madera, CA. It is planted to mature Kerman pistachios on Atlantica rootstock, established in 1972 with 19′ x 26′ spacing. The ranch lies within the Madera Water District and is a member of the East San Joaquin Water Quality Coalition. Water is supplied by one agricultural well and distributed through a Fan-Jet micro sprinkler system. Identified as Madera County APN 029-160-007, the property features suitable soils for permanent plantings (see attached soil map and description for details). As required under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA), groundwater basins must reach sustainability by 2040, which may impact future groundwater pumping.
