As the founder and principal broker of NetWorks Commercial Real Estate, a national firm based in Richmond, Virginia, Jim brings more than 40 years of experience spanning corporate real estate, development, syndication, brokerage, and consulting. He specializes in investment properties, office buildings, shopping centers, and industrial development opportunities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and has been a licensed Virginia broker since 1990. Known for his unwavering commitment to achieving client objectives, Jim has built a reputation for delivering results through strategic planning and thorough property underwriting, often identifying exit strategies prior to acquisition. Clients frequently commend his intellectual energy, innovative problem-solving, and persistent dedication. He has also served as a Governor-appointed member of the Virginia State Senate Storm Water Management Subcommittee (SJR44), representing the real estate development industry. A holder of the prestigious CCIM designation, Jim received the Virginia CCIM Chapter’s “Most Significant Transaction” award in 2004 and 2006, as well as the CCIM Partners “National Most Significant Transaction” award in 2007. He is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as a Russian linguist, having trained at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.
