Tim began his career as a mechanical engineer with NEC Electronics USA, specializing in CVD semiconductor manufacturing, and after over five years as a senior equipment engineer, transitioned into full-time entrepreneurship focused on real estate development and project management. He has since formed multiple real estate partnerships and currently serves as broker/owner of Atlanta Maxim Realty International in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Actively engaged in the community, Tim has held leadership roles with organizations including the Asian Real Estate Association of America (Atlanta Chapter, Past President), Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce (Founding Board Member), BPSOS, Gwinnett Village Community Alliance, Gwinnett Village CID, and is a Leadership Gwinnett alumnus (2012). He was recognized by Georgia Asian Times as one of the 25 most influential Asians in Georgia in 2010 and 2012, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, along with an Engineer in Training certification and a Georgia real estate broker license.
