Originally from California, McGrath moved to Alaska with husband Patrick to raise a family and embrace the close-knit, community-driven lifestyle that defines the region. Deeply involved in local life, McGrath is president of the Petersburg Rotary Club and an active member of the Petersburg Elks Lodge and Sons of Norway, while also volunteering in various community initiatives—from supporting the local garden and tutoring students to coaching “Girls on the Run.”
