Description

A former 354 MW coal-fired power plant site featuring an 800-foot dock line along the Illinois River. The property is equipped with heavy utilities, with a Norfolk Southern rail spur located nearby. High-voltage bulk electrical power is supplied by Ameren Illinois, and natural gas, Meredosia city water, and sanitary sewer services are available. While the coal plant itself has been closed and is slated for abatement and demolition, the bulk power substations will remain under Ameren ownership and continue operating.
